La Cordonnerie is the only restaurant in our neighbourhood where the chef personally selects fresh, high-quality ingredients, which are then prepared in full view of the guests and served in a cosy atmosphere. It is a restaurant for connoisseurs of the true flavours of authentic French cuisine. Anyone who thinks that ketchup enhances the exquisite chips and the skilfully prepared meat is in the wrong place here.
La Cordonnerie est le seul restaurant de notre quartier où les ingrédients frais et de grande qualité sont sélectionnés personnellement par le chef, préparés sous les yeux des convives et servis dans une ambiance chaleureuse. C'est un établissement destiné aux amateurs des véritables nuances gustatives de la cuisine française authentique. Ceux qui pensent que le ketchup rehausse encore davantage les frites exquises et la viande préparée avec raffinement n'ont pas leur place ici.
très jolie petite salle, dès votre entrée vous sentez une bonne odeur de cuisine, c est cosy , on est bien reçu, et la cuisine est excellente aussi bien les plats que les desserts, très bonne adresse discrète dans ce quartier
Les Saint Jacques étaient excellentes. Deux autres amis ont bien apprécié la viande, une autre moins. Les vins ont été appréciés de même que l'agilité de la serveuse, seule pour près d'une dizaine de tables
This is a wonderfully intimate dining experience. You walk in and see the chef/owner cooking to your left. You can watch him from your table or eat in the adjacent dining room. Our waitress and sommelier was delightful and helped steer us to the wine and food we would enjoy. My wife and I both had the entrcote with a light white wine and shallot sauce, something that I would never have expected. That and the accompanying fries needed only a simple arugula salad. For dessert, my wife loved her upside down chocolate fondant, but the pear mousse with amerena cherries could possibly be the best dessert I’ve ever had. It practically floated out of the dish. Everything about this restaurant was wonderful.
