We are from the U.S. This is our third visit in 11 years to this exceptional restaurant. We always make a visit when we are in Paris. This is a small restaurant (perhaps seven tables). I believe that there is only one sitting per evening. We always request a table “in the kitchen “ We can observe and speak with the chef/owner. He will explain the specials of the day in detail. Our appetizer was various mushrooms sautéed in Butter, Garlic, and pepper. Very tasty with a bit of a kick. My wife had the entrecôte in a peppercorn sauce with frites. It was prepared as she requested and it was fun watching the chef prepare your dish. I selected one of the day’s special which was duck in an orange sauce with vegetables and roasted/sautéed potatoes. Very tasty and tender. We shared an Apple tart for dessert. This was a special of the day and was excellent. The chef showed it to us at the beginning of our dinner, so we knew what we were going to select very early on. We shared a bottle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, which was medium body with a touch of spice. I had a Calvados at the end of the evening All items were excellent and extra credit for being able to watch the chef work his trade. Total bill was 170 Euros. Very reasonable for what was provided. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Delightful and chef owned. Chef Hugo is consistent with delicious choices from the freshest ingredients prepared with imagination creating exceptional dinning experiences. I will go back again and again. His staff is so welcoming and helpful adding another reason to go here.

Plats savoureux et service attentionné. Un seul petit bémol : attente un peu longue (30 minutes) avant l’arrivée du plat mais il est vrai que nous n’avions pas commandé d’entrée . Prévoir peut être dans ce cas un amuse bouche pour éviter une attente trop longue qui peut être gênante dans un repas d’affaires avec un invité qui reprend le travail l’après midi
