Little cozy place. The food is so delicious, the service is warmly and very attentive. The menu is not large but enough and well selected, so the wine list. It’s located in a good area, between the Louvre and Place Vendome..
La Cordonnerie is our favorite restaurant in Paris - it is appealing in all respects: excellent dishes (the best frites!), warm and gracious welcome, and the joy of sitting in the kitchen area and watching Hugo cook. The host is kind and helpful - and Hugo takes a moment to describe the specials and show us the meat/fish and sauces themselves. The hake was cooked perfectly, tender and flaky and the pork shoulder delicious in a mushroom sauce. Wines are very nice; we finished with a cheese plate and lovely dessert, a light pear foam with cherries.
Endroit très sympathique, notre table était au calme. La cuisine est authentique et bonne. La dame qui nous a servi était attentionnée, douce et au petit soin. C'était en somme, une agréable soirée.
