This is a small place where you can watch the chef cooking. He greets you at the door. The food is delicious, authentic French dishes and very reasonably priced.

We dined at La Cordonnerie for lunch at the chefs table. The food was delicious and the service was very professional. It was such a pleasure to be able to watch the chef prepare all of the dishes either such calm and precision. We look forward to returning!
Wonderful meal with friends. We started with the shrimp, ravioli & white asparagus, all of which were very good. For mains we had the lamb, squab & beef. Incredibly well prepared & seasoned. Delicious meal, highly recommend.

the staff was so unwelcoming, we were basically the only people in this restaurant and were sitting quietly with our children. they never came to check on us, we had to wait at least half an hour to even see a menu. the ambiance was just as unwelcoming as the staff... bright can lights on the entire time, depressing grey decor... the food was fine but what a mistake it was coming here when there are so many beautiful and charming restaurants with lovely people in paris.
