This is a unique restaurant, in my opinion in a city of restaurants. It is owned by the current chef, whose parents opened it in 1963. It’s been going on ever since. Hugo, the chef, is a talented maker of traditional French cooking. The food is beautifully cooked, delicious, and not pretentious. It is straightforward and approachable. We love this place and have been going there for almost 30 years. I highly recommend La Cordonnerie.
