We visited La Cordonnerie first in 2009, after taking the train over from London. It was, then, one of the top five meals that we'd ever had. This visit was even better. Perfect even. The poached cod entrée (with a raspberry puree) was interesting and excellent. But it was the pork shoulder with cherry reduction that was just inspired: again, interesting without dissonance or shock. Just a harmonious perfection that I'd never had before. The chef and his staff were welcoming and kind, in addition to being excellent at their work. We will definitely return whenever we can.
